• One Day At A Time

Focus on the present, concentrating on staying sober just for this one day. Makes an overwhelming concept much easier to manage.

  • Easy Does It

Avoid rushing the process. Appreciate the success you’ve achieved. Take your time, try to let go of self-judgement and pace your way to a sober lifestyle.

  • First Things First

Prioritize. Things will come up in life, challenges, hurdles, temptations, but what’s really important? First and foremost, life. Just look for the next right thing.

  • Keep It Simple

Overcomplicating things doesn’t help anyone. Take a step back, narrow it down to a simple task or idea and keep moving forward.

  • Let Go and Let God

This doesn’t mean ‘give up’ but rather stop trying to control things that are either in the past our out of your hands. Know when an act or action is on you, but also know when it’s up to a higher power to decide.

  • Progress Not Perfection

Acknowledge the small wins. Perfection is a flashy concept, but it’s not realistic. Give yourself credit and stay on the path.

  • This Too Shall Pass

It’s not a question of ‘if’ but ‘when’ setbacks will arise. Stay positive, it’s only temporary.

  • Keep Coming Back

    No explanation needed!

  • Live and Let Live

You can’t control the actions of others but you always have a say in actions that impact yourself. Let others live their life, help if you can, but always keep the focus on yourself.

  • Think, Think, Think

Before you act, think about the consequences of your actions and decide it’s worth it.
